We’ve levelled up Quote Analysis. You can now upload a Bill of Quantities (BoQ) to act as the source of truth for your subcontractor quote comparisons.
Instead of just comparing quotes to each other, you can now ground the analysis in your project’s actual line items. This helps you spot universal scope gaps, where every bidder missed a requirement, and ensures your reports are consistent every time you re-run them.
What’s new?
Optional BoQ Upload:
A new 2-step flow allows you to upload a package-specific BoQ (Excel or PDF) when starting an analysis.
Structured Comparisons:
Your Scope Breakdown will now map inclusions and exclusions directly to your BoQ line items.
Identify Universal Gaps:
Automatically highlight items that are missing across all submitted quotes.
Improved Consistency:
Using a BoQ as an anchor ensures more stable, repeatable results across multiple runs.
Why it matters
Estimators are under a lot of pressure during the final days of a tender. This update reduces the manual work of "mapping" inconsistent quotes to your own structure, allowing you to move from raw data to a leveled comparison in minutes, not days.
How to get started
  • Go to the
    Quotes
    tab in any project.
  • Select a trade package and click
    Analyse Quotes
    .
  • Upload your quotes and package-specific BoQ and get comparing.

Why it Matters
Not all leads are created equal. By tracking your outcomes, you can:
Identify your best partners:
See which builders are actually awarding you work and which ones might not.
Quote Smarter:
Use your historical win rates to decide where to put your team’s energy during busy periods.
Data-Driven Growth:
Get a clear, bird's-eye view of your team's performance over time.
How to Get Started
Head to the
Submitted
tab in your
Leads
screen. For any project where the result is known, simply update the outcome via the dropdown menu. Your stats will begin to populate automatically!
We know that business doesn’t always happen strictly inside a dashboard, with some quotes submitted via email to builders.
Previously, these “off-platform” wins weren’t reflected in your Quote Rate, leaving your performance data feeling a little incomplete.
We’ve introduced the ‘
Quote Emailed
’ status to bridge the gap between your inbox and your insights.
What’s New?
For Subbies & Suppliers:
You can now mark any Lead as ‘
Quote Emailed
.’ This ensures your Quote Rate and Win Rate statistics actually reflect the hard work you’re doing on and off-platform.

For Builders:
You’ll now see a ‘
Quote Emailed
’ status whenever a subbie or supplier signals they’ve sent their proposal via email. While builders can’t set the Quote Emailed status, you can still update it to any other status.

Why It Matters
Accurate Reporting:
Get a 360-degree view of your actioned Leads.
Better Communication:
Subbies can now clearly signal to builders that the quote is sitting in their inbox.
Relationship Insights:
Subbies can view overall Quoted/Win stats (builder-specific insights available on the Essential license).
To help you build the strongest tender shortlist possible, we’ve added a critical feature to the new invitation flow: the ability to sort your subcontractors by their historical response rate.
What’s New?
When issuing invitations for an open tender, you can now sort your Address Book results by response rate.
Instead of guessing which subcontractors are active, you can instantly surface the companies most likely to engage with your project. For even greater efficiency, the system uses the highest-responding contact within a company to determine that company's position in your list.
Why This Matters for Builders
Maximise bid coverage:
By prioritising subcontractors with a high response history, you increase the likelihood of receiving multiple competitive quotes early in the process.
Save Time on Follow-ups:
Focus your energy on the "sure things" first. This reduces the time spent chasing subcontractors who rarely engage with invitations.
The Impact
This update is a direct result of your feedback. We’re committed to ensuring the new invitation experience isn't just "newer," but more powerful and intuitive than what came before.
Key Detail:
The sort order is dynamic. As subcontractor behavior changes, your list will update to reflect who is currently most active in your Address Book.

Since launching AI-powered Quote Analysis just a few months ago we've seen over 150 builders already making it part of their E1 workflow. Thanks to your continuous feedback, we’ve introduced a few updates to make the experience even better.
Here’s what’s new
Citations: Confidence in every quote
AI-extracted information in reports now includes direct citations showing where each data point appears in the original quote. This transparency helps you quickly verify the information and gain confidence in the AI-generated output.

Quote Viewer: All your quotes in one view
You can now view the original quotes side-by-side against the Quote Analysis report in a new Quote Viewer. This makes it easier to cross-check details without PDF hopping.

When quotes are uploaded into E1, the system now automatically identifies trade-based package matches where possible, enabling faster review and organisation.

Connected Subcontractor Profiles: Instant company insights
If a quote comes from a subcontractor within your E1 Address Book, you’ll now see a direct link to their Company Profile. This applies anywhere their company name appears within the report, giving you instant historical context.

Location Switcher Updates: Now Showing Full Office Address

We've rolled out some updates to the Location Switcher to make it clearer and help prevent issues with duplicate entries!
Positioning yourself by office surfaces only tenders and leads that matter. Use Switch Office to pick a local hub and filter projects by region for faster, more relevant opportunities.
What's Changing
Office Address Display:
The checkboxes for selecting locations will now display the full street address instead of just the Office Name.
Why Are We Making These Changes?
The goal of this update is to create a more consistent and accurate experience for all users and regions, ultimately helping you work more efficiently by improving clarity.
Showing the full address makes it easy to immediately confirm if an office is already listed, preventing the unnecessary creation of duplicates.
